"Unir o brega desesperado de Bartô Galeno ao rock barulhento do Guitar Wolf foi a grande inspiração para o surgimento da banda Olhos de Guaxinim. Entrevista c/ AjaxFree
Pq noise?
Eu optei pelo noise pelo fato de não precisar de ninguém dando palpites nas minhas músicas e também porque ninguém aqui em São Paulo queria criar algo diferente de hardcore, emo ou metal.
Cabeças fechadas?
Sim, muito fechadas pra algo novo. O que eu faço não é novo mas a minha proposta é nova. Eu gostaria de me juntar a um pessoal de jazz e inserir meus barulhos mas como eu disse, cabeças fechadas. E eu não vou dar murro em neguinho pra ele abrir a cabeça. Mas dá vontade!
Influências?
Aí o bicho pega! Eu gosto de muita coisa e ouço muita coisa variada. De samba antigo ao mais extremo barulho, passando pelo jazz e experimental. Não o experimental de 60/70, mas o experimental contemporâneo. Odeio rock progressivo e música experimental de hippie!
Lançamentos?
Tem um pessoal da Polônia que está lançando minhas coisas por lá. O incrível é que eles gostam mesmo do que eu faço. O primeiro lançamento pela FarFromShowBiz foi um remix que fiz do Splinter vs Stalin. Melhor, saiu em embalagem especial com 2 cds. AjaxFree: We are here to fuck your ears - remixing Splinter vs Stalin e Gustoso! Splinter vs Stalin remixing AjaxFree. Agora sairam mais dois lançamentos, o AjaxFree 10 31 30 e o In Dogs We Trust. Todos lançados no esquema cd-r, mas com profissionalismo!
E aqui no Brasil?
Cara, o único selo a acreditar no meu trabalho ou seja, querer lançar em cd mesmo foi a TERRÖTTEN RECORDS do Sul. Eu desenvolvi várias artes para os lançamentos do selo e enchi muito o saco do Renan pra ele lançar o AjaxFree. Infelizmente a situação do país impediu que lançássemos o cd. Talvez no ano que vem. ANIMA CARNIS é o trabalho mais agressivo que já fiz, tanto a questão sonora quanto a concepção gráfica. São 22 músicas e um jazz do outro mundo!
Selos virtuais?
Tem o pessoal do Antena que já colocou no ar alguns cds do AjaxFree e você da N0-Age! Aliás, vocês foram os primeiros a acreditarem na parada. Não sei se foi um privilégio ou mais uma dor de cabeça, hahahahha!
Outros projetos?
Napalm Jazz Scream! Este é mais um projeto de música estranha. O primeiro mini cd chamado The Deepest Blues Are Black saiu pela Turgid Animal da Inglaterra. Neste primeiro mini cd sou eu e o Tisborroinfaccia do Splinter vs Stalin. O segundo, que está pra sair em breve, conta com a participação do Tisborroinfaccia e do F.L.A., ambos do Splinter vs Stalin. São 13 faixas maravilhosas! Também estou preparando um cd só com poemas e música estranha. Como disse uma vez numa entrevista ao Renato Donizete do zine Aviso Final, eu comecei antes do Arnaldo Antunes os experimentos com ruídos e poemas.

We are proud of this huge selection of diverse, worldwide music: artists from Canada to Tierra del Fuego; from Chile to Ukrania, from Spain, UK, and France, who generously offered their work to celebrate with us. We are tied to each and every one of them in many different ways - most of them, friends we love and profoundly admire. That's why this record has become a truly on line party; we started inviting our closest friends/fellow traveller musicians, and, as in any fiesta a la chilena , they invited their friends and so on.. That's also the reason why this project became what you see now: a strong statement that music will always make headway - despite our geographical position, our social, political, cultural, and language differences, collaboration among electronic musicians is always new land.

Apertura el sampler el proyecto ecuatoriano Industria Masoquista con una estruendosa amalgama de sonidos y feedbacks catárticos, por ahí también asistimos a la excelente pieza de los puertorriqueños Cornucopia quienes logran perpetrar una atmósfera supraterrenal enigmática, también está la excelente electrónica pseudo lúdica de AC y DC (Colombia) mostrándonos sonidos encantadores, igual mérito tienen los brasileños de The Abx. En fin, poco lograremos escribiendo sobre una compilación que desde ya se presenta fundacional para todo el underground de esta parte del mundo, y es que en vez de leer estas líneas lo que deberías hacer ya es bajarte toda esta excelente nueva ?música? elaborada por estos ilustres cerebros latinos. I can't review the whole night, so here's one of the many interesting acts of the evening:
IDX1274 was lurking around the whole show incognito, with a camoflauge cloth across his face. Just before he began he donned a fencing mask with a skull painted on it, which he announced used to be worn by the drummer of Funkadelic. The set began with some ritualistic (?) smashing of glass-framed pictures of nuns and maybe Mary or Jesus or something. There was a strobe light and a tv set playing an alfred hitchcock movie. I believe there were contact mics on the tv, a casette 4 track was involved somehow, possibly recording (?), some pedals, various power tools, and a metal grinder. He stuck well-worn license plates into the grinder, and eventually a mic got stuck up in there as well, causing sparks to fly and loud noises resulted. There was an acrid, burning smell after while. He took a thick piece of steel pipe or something and duct-taped a mic inside of it. This he threw into the tube of the tv set. Kaboom! Then in a rage he grabbed a heavy axe and started chopping the tv set to bits. The crowd moved back a bit, but it was a small space so there was really nowhere to go. Then he laid into it with a chainsaw, and cut it until the chain broke. There was some nice pedal work in there, and finally a metal grinder coda. The last sound heard was the grinder ever so gradually slowing down to a dead stop, and that was the end. There was debris and glass and metal things strewn all over.. it looked like a bomb had gone off in there. The door opened to get some fresh air, and Ben-David's dad walked in to survey the damage. Nkondi told him, "It's probably just as well you weren't here for this one...." LOL.

Luke Maggot ganhou este apelido depois que ingeriu larvas vivas. Ele trabalha com manipulação de fita, programação rítmica e melódica, fazendo um som que lembra o arsenal ruídico da música concreta jogando com a pegada da velha guarda do industrial. Suas influências são o mundo disforme. Ouça seu EP Faceless Boy, que conta história de um garoto sem rosto.

Atomic Genocide
Quando começou, em 2001, Alter Breitenbach vs. Zusammenhangslos experimentava baterias eletrônicas e sintetizadores distorcidos com loops, que seus integrantes obtinham na Internet. O resultado eram construções sonoras entre o Gabba, o Industrial e o Noise.
O projeto cresceu, mudou seu nome para Atomic Genocide e ganhou um remix de Sound_00 para a faixa Sexphohe Industrial Cut v2.0, que contém loops de tele-sexo, em diferentes amplitudes, encobertos pela locomotiva eletroacústica de Zusa, tanto compassada como descompassada, e os ébrios sintetizadores analógicos e rádios valvulados de Breitenbach.
Atualmente os dois ainda experimentam as mesmas fontes sonoras adicionadas a muito mais ruídos digitais e analógicos, sempre contribuindo para um medonho disparate sonoro.

When it has begun in 2001 Alter Breitenbach vs. Zusammenhangslos experimented drum machines and distorted synthesizers with loops that members obtained in the Internet. The results were sonorous buildings among the Gabba, Industrial and Noise.
The project has grown up, changed its name to Atomic Genocide and earned a remix by Sound_00 for the track so-called Sexphohe Industrial Cut v2.0, which contains loops of telephone sex, in different amplitudes, covered for the electroacoustic locomotive of Zusa, as much ordered as unordered, and the drunken analog synthesizers and valve radios of Breitenbach.
Nowadays both members still experiment the same sound sources added to much more digital and analog noises, always contribuiting to a frightening resonant absurdity.

Artista brasileiro de música experimental eletrônica(ex-integrante da banda GDE). Atualmente integra os projetos Iconoclasticos e Squizo Cactus, com Zusammenhangslos. Tem em seu currículo apresentações na Alemanha e Argentina, tendo participado do festival Noise Factory na cidade de Hamburgo. A brazilian artist of electronic experimental music(ex-member of the band GDE). Nowadays he features on the projects Iconoclasticos and Squizo Cactus (with Zusammenhangslos). He has performed in German and Argentina and participated on the Noise Factory's Festival in Hamburg and released in 2004 the EP Sub-suites which features a collage of loops and synthesizers.
